Rydym wedi buddsoddi'n helaeth iawn ym metro de Cymru—dros £1 biliwn o fuddsoddiad—ac mae'r buddsoddiad hwnnw'n unol â safonau'r diwydiant o ran sut y caiff y trac ei reoli a'i asesu, ac ansawdd y dur sy'n cael ei osod hefyd.

We have invested very heavily indeed in the south Wales metro—over £1 billion pounds of investment—and that investment is in line with industry standards in terms of how the track is managed and assessed, and the quality of the steel that is laid as well.

The EU's proposal clearly has the potential to have drastic consequences for the Welsh steel sector at a time when, as has been recognised, it's already under immense trading pressure due to the US tariffs and global overcapacity.
