Ond rwyf am ganolbwyntio ar yr hyn y mae Llywodraeth Cymru yn ei wneud i hyrwyddo'r diwydiant yn ei gyfanrwydd er mwyn cael mwy o bobl i mewn i'r byd addysg.

But I want to focus on what the Welsh Government is doing to promote the industry as a whole to get more people actually into teaching.

Rydym wedi buddsoddi'n helaeth iawn ym metro de Cymru—dros £1 biliwn o fuddsoddiad—ac mae'r buddsoddiad hwnnw'n unol â safonau'r diwydiant o ran sut y caiff y trac ei reoli a'i asesu, ac ansawdd y dur sy'n cael ei osod hefyd.

We have invested very heavily indeed in the south Wales metro—over £1 billion pounds of investment—and that investment is in line with industry standards in terms of how the track is managed and assessed, and the quality of the steel that is laid as well.

Wrth edrych ymlaen, credaf fod hyn hefyd yn dangos yr angen hanfodol inni symud gyda'r arloesedd a'r datblygiadau diweddaraf yn y diwydiant rheilffyrdd.

I think, looking forward, this also demonstrates the vital need for us to move with the very latest innovation and developments in the rail industry.

Hoffwn atgoffa'r Aelodau unwaith eto mai Llywodraeth Lafur Cymru sydd wedi buddsoddi dros £1 biliwn yn natblygiad metro de Cymru, ac mae hynny wedi'i ddatblygu yn unol â safonau'r diwydiant ledled y DU.

I just remind Members again that it's this Welsh Labour Government that has invested in excess of £1 billion in the development of the south Wales metro, and that's been developed in line with industry standards right across the UK.
