The Bill also addresses loopholes used by unscrupulous traders, reducing the number of pet dogs, cats or ferrets that can travel under non-commercial rules to five per vehicle and three per foot passenger.

It seeks to achieve this by introducing limits on the number of animals permitted to travel in any one vehicle.

Bydd y Bil hwn yn lleihau nifer yr anifeiliaid sy'n gallu teithio o dan reolau anfasnachol o bump fesul person i bump fesul cerbyd, neu dri fesul teithiwr ar droed neu mewn awyren.

This Bill will reduce the number of animals that can travel under non-commercial rules from five per person to five per vehicle, or three per foot or air passenger.
