He shall keep the official mark secret, and an interval of not less than seven years shall intervene between each use of the same official mark at elections for the same constituency.

(5) Chun crícheanna an ailt seo tuigfar gur cuireadh marc ar rud má cuireadh air é do réir brí na Merchandise Marks Acts, 1887 to 1911.

(5) For the purposes of this section a mark shall be deemed to be applied if it is applied within the meaning of the Merchandise Marks Acts, 1887 to 1911.

Provided always that while a licence under this sub-section is current in respect of any premises, any licence then in force for the use of the national mark in respect of butter manufactured in those premises shall be suspended.
