(2) Every certificate of qualification issued by the Commissioners shall, save as is otherwise provided by this Act, declare that the person to whom such certificate relates has satisfied the Commissioners that—

(2) Notice of every appointment and promotion with respect to which a certificate of qualification is issued by the Commissioners under this Act shall be published by them in Iris Oifigiúil immediately after the issue of such certificate.

(4) Ní gá d'éinne a ceapfar fén Acht so mar fho-shirriam chonganta na cáilíochta san do bheith aige nach foláir do dhaoine a ceaptar mar fho-shirriaim a bheith acu do réir fo-alt (3) d'Alt 1 den Sheriffs (Ireland) Act, 1920.

(4) It shall not be necessary for any person appointed under this Act to be an assistant under-sheriff to possess the qualifications prescribed by sub-section (3) of section 1 of the Sheriffs (Ireland) Act, 1920, for persons appointed to be under-sheriffs.
