Cabinet Secretary, I'd like to thank you again for your statement last week on the building safety Bill.

This legislation is about safety regulations, and a lot of responsibility for that regulation is now set to fall to our local authorities.

I'm delighted that we were able to introduce that Building Safety (Wales) Bill last week.

The Bill will create a new building safety regime, through regular assessment and proper management of building safety risks, which protects residents and others.
