Mae'r buddsoddiad gan Lywodraeth Cymru ym margen ddinesig bae Abertawe yn datgloi dros £1 biliwn o fuddsoddiad, ac yn creu miloedd o swyddi ar draws gorllewin Cymru—swyddi o safon a fydd yn helpu pobl gyda heriau costau byw.

The investment from the Welsh Government in the Swansea bay city deal is unlocking over £1 billion of investment, and creating thousands of jobs across west Wales—quality jobs that will help people with cost-of-living challenges.

Mae hyn yn arbennig o berthnasol yn fy rhan i o'r byd lle mae'r gwelyau yn Ysbyty Gorseinon, ysbyty cymunedol poblogaidd, yn cael eu symud gan Fwrdd Iechyd Prifysgol Bae Abertawe a'u canoli yn Ysbyty Singleton.

This is particularly pertinent in my part of the world where Gorseinon Hospital, a much-loved community hospital, is having its beds removed by Swansea Bay University Health Board and centralised in Singleton Hospital.

Wrth gwrs, mater i Fwrdd Iechyd Prifysgol Bae Abertawe yw hwn o ran darparu gwasanaethau.

Of course, this is a matter for Swansea Bay University Health Board in terms of the provision of services.

Mewn tri bwrdd iechyd— Cwm Taf Morgannwg, Bae Abertawe a Phowys—nid oes unrhyw un bellach yn aros mwy na dwy flynedd am wasanaethau offthalmoleg.

Three health boards—Cwm Taf Morgannwg, Swansea Bay and Powys—now have no-one waiting more than two years for ophthalmology.
