4° Aon bhreitheamh a dhiúltós nó a fhailleos an dearbhú réamhráite a dhéanamh ní foláir a mheas go bhfuil scartha aige lena oifig.

4° Any judge who declines or neglects to make such declaration as aforesaid shall be deemed to have vacated his office.

(3) Ní bheidh sé dleathach a éileamh ar aon vótálaí in aon toghachán aon mhóid ná dearbhú do thabhairt i dtaobh a chirt vótála ná i dtaobh éinní eile in aon chor ach amháin mar a luaidhtear san alt so.

(3) Save as is mentioned in this section it shall not be lawful to require any voter at any election to take any oath or affirmation either in respect of his right to vote or any other matter whatsoever.

agus beidh éifeacht le halt 145 den Acht sin amhail is dá ndéanfaí an dearbhú ag an gcruinniú áirithe agus dá réir sin dá mba chuid de na himeachtaí é ag an gcruinniú sin.

and section 145 of that Act shall have effect as if the declaration had been made at the meeting in question and had accordingly formed part of the proceedings at that meeting.
