Gach páipeur ainmniúcháin ná seachadfar don cheann chomhrimh roimh thosach aimsir ghlactha na n-ainmniúchán, seachadfar don cheann chomhrimh é i rith aimsir ghlactha na n-ainmniúchán agus san áit a cheapfaidh an ceann comhrimh chuige sin fé Riail l de seo.

All nomination papers not delivered to the returning officer before the commencement of the time for receiving nominations shall be delivered to the returning officer, during the time for receiving nominations and at the place appointed for that purpose by the returning officer under Rule 1 hereof.

Ní foláir gach páipeur ainmniúcháin do bheith sighnithe ag beirt thoghthóirí cláruithe mar thairgtheoir agus cuiditheoir agus ag ochtar eile de thoghthóirí cláruithe mar dhaoine a thoilíonn leis an ainmniúchán.

Every nomination paper must be signed by two registered electors as proposer and seconder, and by eight other registered electors as assenting to the nomination.

(a) go ndéanfar tagartha a dintar sna forálacha don lá deireannach chun glactha ainmniúchán do léiriú mar thagartha don dara lá tar éis dáta an fhurógra le n-a gceapfar an lá ar a ndéanfar an Seanad-toghachán;

( a ) references in such to the last day for receiving nominations shall be construed as references to the second day after the date of the proclamation appointing the day on which the Seanad election is to take place;
