Notice of any objection under this rule in the prescribed form shall be sent by the registration officer to the person to whose registration the objection relates, and shall state the grounds of the objection.

The returning officer shall endorse "rejected" on any ballot paper which he may reject as invalid, and shall add to the endorsement "rejection objected to" if an objection be in fact made by any agent to his decision.
