O dan y Bil, bydd yn rhaid i Lywodraeth Cymru ddatblygu strategaeth BSL genedlaethol, gyda mewnbwn gan gynghorydd BSL a phanel cynorthwyol, a fydd yn gosod y cyfeiriad ar gyfer datblygu cynlluniau BSL lleol gan y cyrff cyhoeddus rhestredig.

Under the Bill, it will be for the Welsh Government to develop a national BSL strategy, with input from a BSL adviser and an assisting panel, which will set the direction for local BSL plans to be developed by the listed public bodies.

Yn yr un modd, rhaid i gyrff cyhoeddus rhestredig gyhoeddi cynllun BSL sy'n amlinellu sut y byddant yn hyrwyddo ac yn hwyluso BSL.

Similarly, listed public bodies must publish a BSL plan outlining how they will promote and facilitate BSL.

Er mwyn sicrhau cysondeb ledled Cymru gan ganiatáu hyblygrwydd, mae'r Bil yn ei gwneud yn ofynnol i Weinidogion Cymru gyhoeddi canllawiau i gyrff cyhoeddus rhestredig ar hyrwyddo a hwyluso BSL.

To ensure consistency across Wales while allowing flexibility, the Bill requires Welsh Ministers to issue guidance to listed public bodies on promoting and facilitating BSL.

Rhaid i'r cyrff cyhoeddus rhestredig adolygu eu cynllun hefyd os cânt eu cyfarwyddo i wneud hynny gan Weinidogion Cymru, neu os yw Gweinidogion Cymru'n adolygu'r strategaeth BSL genedlaethol.

The listed public bodies must also review their plan if directed to do so by Welsh Ministers, or if the Welsh Ministers revise the national BSL strategy.

Er bod y Bil yn cyfyngu ar nifer y cyrff cyhoeddus rhestredig i'r rhai mwyaf perthnasol i iechyd ac addysg, yn seiliedig ar adborth ymgynghoriad, gall Gweinidogion Cymru ehangu'r rhestr hon drwy reoliadau.

Although the Bill limits the number of listed public bodies to those most relevant to health and education, based on consultation feedback, Welsh Ministers can expand this list through regulations.
