2 Ní foláir gach achainí den sórt sin a bheith i scríbhinn agus í a bheith faoi láimh an lucht achainí agus ní foláir a sínithe sin a bheith fíoraithe ar an modh a ordaítear le dlí.

2 Every such petition shall be in writing and shall be signed by the petitioners whose signatures shall be verified in the manner prescribed by law.

(a) Nár bhféidir go réasúnta an scríbhinn sin do sheirbheáil sa tslí a éilíonn an dlí roimh-ráite;

( a ) that it was not reasonably possible to effect service of such document in the manner required by the law aforesaid;

( b ) that such document or a copy thereof or reasonable notice of such document and of the contents thereof did in fact reach the person required to be served therewith.
